Registered Nurse ICU

Travel ICU RN Opportunity

Seeking experienced RN to fill a 13-week travel ICU position at a busy hospital. The role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced environment, supporting advanced medical procedures, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced critical care interventions including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia protocols.
• Monitor patient status continuously, respond to emergencies, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately within the Meditech EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on critical care procedures and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• Proficient in Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a positive, engaged attitude.
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
