Registered Nurse – MedSurg/TelemetryShift Details: Day Shift | 4x12-Hour Schedule | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PMJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with acute medical and telemetry needs while working in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, telemetry monitoring skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit.Assess, monitor, and care for patients with acute medical and telemetry-related conditions.Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings.Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.Ensure patient safety and adherence to established standards of care.Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.RequirementsMinimum 1 year of nursing experience required.Strong assessment, telemetry monitoring, communication, and critical thinking skills required.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.EducationRequiredNursing Diploma, orADN/ASN from an accredited School of NursingPreferredBSN or MSN from an accredited School of NursingLicenseActive North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) LicenseCertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or client-approved equivalent)
