WATERFOWL TECHS NEEDED AT TRONA MINES
Our client, in Green River is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team during the Waterfowl Season. As a Waterfowl Tech, you will be part of the Environmental Department where it will be your responsibility to rescue and safely release ducks and other species of birds from soda ash ponds back into their natural habitat. The ideal candidate will have good work ethic, proficient in operating boats to assist in bird relocation, and the ability to problem solve and adapt to unexpected situations, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Green River

Pay Range: $18.00 

What’s the Job?

• Safely capture and handle birds landing on the trona process ponds
• Transport captured birds from the ponds to the duck clinic
• Operate effectively in both hot and cold weather conditions, adapting to the elements accordingly
• Ability to walk long periods of time throughout the day
• Observe monitor birds during their stay at the clinic, noting any unusual behavior or health concerns.
  

What’s Needed?

• Reliable transportation
• Steel Toe Shoes
• Valid Drivers License and clean MVR
• Ability to pass Pre-Employment Testing
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions 
• MSHA CERTIFICATION
