Our Medical Directors dedicate over 90% of their time to practicing medicine, allowing them to stay fully engaged in patient care while leading the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys a diverse caseload, values collaboration, and is passionate about providing high-quality medicine in a supportive, team‑oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical and surgical skills, with advanced soft tissue surgery experience preferred to help support emergency and urgent care cases such as splenectomies, gastrointestinal foreign body obstructions, pyometra, cystotomies, exploratory surgeries, laceration repairs, and other emergency procedures commonly seen in small animal practice. Experience mentoring veterinarians, fostering a positive hospital culture, and driving medical excellence is highly valued.

Position Overview

The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

Our facility is equipped with 3 exam rooms, digital X‑ray, ultrasound, and in‑house Idexx laboratory equipment, allowing our team to provide efficient, high‑quality patient care. You will work alongside a passionate, experienced support team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our small animal patients while fostering a collaborative and positive hospital culture.
