Overnight Air Logistics Warehouse AssociateThis is a full-time overnight warehouse position with growth opportunities available for individuals seeking a long-term career.Schedule:Full-time – 40 hours per weekFive 8-hour overnight shifts per weekShifts generally begin between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. and end between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.Must be available to work every Friday, Saturday, and SundayMust be willing to work weekdays and holidays as scheduledCompensation:$18.50 per hourNo additional overnight shift differentialPremium pay on holidaysEligible for medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and travel discountsMinimum Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or equivalentAt least one year of experience in a similar roleMust be at least 18 years of ageValid driver's license requiredAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust be able to work every weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and SundayMust be punctual and dependableAbility to understand and respond to verbal commands and safety warnings, with or without the assistance of visual aidsMust be able to lift up to 70 pounds multiple times throughout the shiftPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to lift up to 70 pounds multiple times per dayAbility to stand and walk throughout the entire shiftAbility to twist, turn, stoop, bend, reach, and grip while handling packages and cargoAbility to judge distancesWork is performed inside a warehouse that is not temperature controlled and may become hot or cold depending on outside conditionsMust be willing to wear the uniform and insignia prescribed by the companyPersonal appearance and grooming must present a favorable corporate imageResponsibilities:The Overnight Air Logistics Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely receiving, sorting, moving, loading, and unloading air cargo and packages within the warehouse.Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand or pushcart between the warehouse and trucksBuild package containers for outbound flightsBreak down package containers arriving from inbound flightsRemove tie-downs and other equipment when loading and unloading cargoSort, scan, and move small packages throughout the warehouseOperate package-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and pushcartsCheck air express containers for proper piece counts, weight, dimensions, and documentation in accordance with air safety and security guidelinesFacilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucksComply with all warehouse and site security proceduresMonitor employee, contractor, and visitor activity and report security breaches, suspicious activity, or noncompliancePerform routine cleaning of warehouse work areas and facilities as assigned
