Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Grapevine, TX that is seeking a Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Specialist.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with technology partners to plan and conduct technology recovery tests, and measure Disaster Recovery capabilities to ensure the ability to perform within recovery time and recovery point objectives
* Develop and deliver awareness and training programs (including online training content) to staff on business continuity, technology recovery, and enterprise resilience topics
* Support responses to customer requests, audits, and maintenance of documents related to enterprise resilience
* Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and maintain crisis response planning, management, and communication
* Develop and provide BCM program data for scorecards and reports, and brief stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Undergraduate degree (Information Systems, Computer Science or similar preferred) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Professional certification such as Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or similar
* 5+ years of demonstrable experience with BCM or BCP/DR
* Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-3

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
