Overnight Shift Details

9 PM–7 AM | 10-hour awake shift

This is an awake overnight shift . You’ll remain alert and available throughout the night to provide individualized care according to the client’s needs and care plan.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the client and care plan, you may:

• Assist with personal care and nighttime routines

• Support safe mobility and transfers

• Assist with toileting and other overnight needs

• Provide attentive companionship and reassurance

• Observe and report changes in condition, behavior, or routine

• Respond calmly when a client needs assistance

• Complete accurate documentation

• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and company protocols

• Support client dignity, safety, comfort, and independence
  

You May Be a Strong Fit If

You’re comfortable being the person others can rely on when it’s 3 AM and something changes.

You bring hands-on care experience, good judgment, and confidence supporting people with more involved needs. You notice details, follow care plans, communicate promptly, and know when something needs attention.

You’re comfortable working independently, welcome feedback, maintain professional standards, and take pride in providing dependable care—even when no one is watching.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or relevant hands-on care experience

• Confidence supporting clients with more involved care needs

• Ability to remain awake and attentive for the full 10-hour shift

• Valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation

• Current auto insurance

• Smartphone for scheduling and communication
  

Pay & Benefits

Overnight Pay: $26.00–$29.00/hour

Calculated as the $23.00–$26.00/hour base rate plus a $3.00/hour overnight Premium Pay differential.
