Job Summary

A Greenville-area law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to support attorneys handling insurance defense and civil litigation matters. This direct hire opportunity is a strong fit for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys managing active caseloads, organizing complex case materials, and contributing to successful litigation outcomes.

The Insurance Defense Paralegal will work in a fast-paced legal environment with attorneys and legal support staff who value accuracy, responsiveness, teamwork, and professionalism. This role offers the opportunity to build on litigation experience, strengthen case management skills, and contribute to meaningful legal work within a stable and collaborative practice setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Support attorneys throughout all phases of insurance defense and civil litigation matters.
- Prepare, organize, review, and maintain legal documents, pleadings, discovery materials, correspondence, and case files.
- Track litigation deadlines, coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, and help manage case-related timelines.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and other parties as needed.
- Conduct legal research and assist with factual investigation, document review, and case preparation.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, preparing materials, and coordinating logistics.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $50,000 to $63,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Greenville, SC.
