Firefly Children & Family Alliance is seeking a Vice President for our Child Abuse Prevention Services . In this position, you will provide strategic leadership for community-based prevention services that strengthen families, promote child safety, and advance child and family well-being. This position will also provide leadership in the development and advancement of Family Resource Centers across Central Indiana, fostering partnerships with local and national experts and promoting impactful community-based approaches. You will serve as a community advocate and thought leader for Family Resource Centers and upstream prevention efforts, engaging stakeholders, funders, and community partners. This role leads these initiatives by developing and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including child welfare service providers, schools, courts, behavioral health providers, and community organizations. Responsible for innovative outreach, best-practice service delivery, strong program oversight, fiscal accountability, and measurable outcomes, this position ensures vulnerable families receive timely, high-quality resources and support needed to create safe, stable, and thriving home environments for children while advancing the organization’s mission of stronger families and healthier communities. The salary range for this position is $100,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience. You Will: Leadership / Management (50%) Develop the overall strategy and goals for assigned managers and program Ensure grantor / customer satisfaction Ensure programmatic compliance with established grant/contractual service standards Hire, develop, evaluate, and hold accountable program staff Mentor and coach staff through training, inspiration, motivation and encouragement Respond to crisis calls from directors regarding program needs Participate in Executive Leadership functions within the agency Follow and adhere to the professional standards and ethics outlined by professional degrees and/or licensure Relationship Development (25%) Build and maintain a strong network of relationships– DCS, probation, mental health agencies, schools and community agencies Regularly collaborate and communicate with community agencies to maintain and establish a strong referral network Deliver educational presentations throughout the community to support programming Proactively market and sell the program through one-on-one interactions Financials (20%) Responsible for billing, budgets and contractual relationships within the program Identify grant opportunities and write grants for program funding Monitor monthly program billing to ensure payment is rendered for services provided Reporting (5%) Compile and analyze the data for goals and outcomes Maintain case and agency paperwork according to standards Oversee Continuous Quality Improvement processes within assigned programs You Have: Master’s degree in social work, counseling or other related field Minimum of five (5) years’ paid experience in responsible supervisory or administrative capacity 10 years of work experience in the field of child welfare or social service A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance Expert technology skills with mastery of entire Microsoft Suite including Internet and email Clear, effective communications skill Knowledge of and adherence to current confidentiality practices Appreciation for and ability to respond to cultural differences Our Benefits: Student Loan Repayment Tuition Reimbursement Medical, Dental, and Health Insurance Over 150 hours of PTO first year and 12 paid holidays Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Life Insurance Equal Employment Opportunity: Firefly Children & Family Alliance does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability. #J-18808-Ljbffr Indyhunger
