Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts

• Minimum 1 year of experience required (first timers not accepted)

• On-call requirements: minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend

• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT

• Must have travel experience

• Circulate and provide conscious sedation

• Work with specialized equipment including Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, Inari

• Perform cardiac procedures: LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temporary pacers, permanent pacer/defib, pericardial effusion, STEMI calls

• Handle interventional radiology procedures: venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, Tips, PV, fistula work, UFEs, prostate embos, GI/Post Partum/other internal bleeds

• Treat patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics

• Work in 2-room department with approximately 8 visits per day

• 40-hour orientation period

• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
