International Payroll Accountant

Responsibilities Support payroll operations for domestic and international employee populations. Review payroll data for accuracy and ensure timely processing through internal teams and external payroll providers. Assist with multi-state and international payroll tax compliance, filings, and reporting. Prepare payroll-related journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and account analyses. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, tax issues, and employee payroll inquiries. Partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, and Tax teams to support payroll changes and employee compensation programs. Assist with global mobility, travel tax tracking, equity compensation, or other specialized payroll initiatives as needed. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee compensation and payroll information. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, tax, or a related finance function. Understanding of payroll accounting, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations. Knowledge of multi-state payroll taxes; international payroll experience is a plus but not required. Experience with payroll or HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar platforms is preferred. Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze payroll reports and reconcile data. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
