As a Security Officer Access Control in Somerset, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location where you will help monitor access points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this ACCESS CONTROL role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor screening, badge verification, and/or access control activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control authorized access for staff, patients, visitors, and vendors, while documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, access issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support front lobby and entry point operations by checking credentials, providing directions, assisting with visitor management, and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
