Lead Food and Nutrition

Responsibilities Coordinate operations and activities of the Food and Nutrition Services Department within assigned hospital and department/campus locations. Provide consistent, high‑quality service in a sanitary environment while ensuring compliance with State, Local, Federal, and Joint Commission regulations, policies, procedures, and department standards. Evaluate existing systems and processes, initiate changes and improvements, and make suggestions to the Manager. Demonstrate knowledge and ensure compliance with all current policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (TJC, OSHA, EEOC, and others) across all food and nutrition services areas. Support department leadership and achieve the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Services Department in assigned areas, including patient and non‑patient food service, employee cafeteria, doctors’ dining room, catering, and floor stock. Coordinate effective operation of assigned Food and Nutrition Services activities to maintain an aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environment through coordination and supervision of assigned functions. Qualifications High School Diploma (preferred). Minimum of three years of experience in food services or hospitality (preferred). Knowledge of hospital and health care operations (preferred). Knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics (preferred). Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (required). State Food Handler Card or equivalent (required).
