Commercial Loan Officer - Jackson County, MS

A respected, community-focused financial institution is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join its growing team in Jackson County, Mississippi . You'll be responsible for developing new commercial relationships, managing an existing loan portfolio, and providing customized lending and deposit solutions to businesses throughout the Gulf Coast market. What You'll Do

• Develop and expand commercial banking relationships with business owners and community leaders throughout Jackson County and the surrounding Gulf Coast.
• Generate new commercial loan and deposit opportunities through business development and networking.
• Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit information to structure sound lending solutions.
• Prepare and present credit requests for approval.
• Manage and grow an existing commercial loan portfolio while maintaining strong asset quality.
• Cross-sell treasury management, deposit, and other banking services.
• Conduct annual relationship reviews and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial lending experience in the Jackson County or Gulf Coast market.
• Proven success developing new business and managing commercial relationships.
• Strong commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and loan structuring experience.
• Experience with C&I, commercial real estate, and small business lending.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
