Customer Experience Centre Lab Leader

Bio-Techne seeks an experienced lab leader to oversee its Customer Experience Centre in Düsseldorf, a flagship facility driving customer engagement and revenue growth through demonstrations, training, and scientific collaboration. The role combines laboratory operations management, strategic planning, and commercial impact across EMEA demonstration facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily CXC laboratory operations ensuring safety, compliance, and customer readiness across EMEA facilities
  • Lead and mentor lab specialists and application scientists; foster scientific excellence and continuous improvement
  • Design and deliver customer demonstrations, workshops, and training programmes aligned with commercial objectives
  • Host customer visits and scientific events; translate complex technologies into customer-focused solutions
  • Develop strategic initiatives to expand CXC offerings, increase utilization, and measure business impact

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology)
  • 7+ years laboratory or industry experience with minimum 3 years in leadership role
  • Fluent in German and English; additional European languages beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of life science tools and diagnostic workflows
  • Proven experience managing lab operations and leading technical teams
  • Customer-facing or technical support background highly desirable
  • Familiarity with CRM and LIMS systems

Compensation: €51,500 - €82,650
