Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful role supporting high school students as a Resource Special Education Teacher, working in a collaborative and inclusive school environment near Keene, NH. From August 20, 2026, through June 16, 2027 (subject to change for potential snow days), you’ll deliver expert instruction and individualized support to learners with diverse needs.

Your week will follow a Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35 hours, offering consistency as you work closely with students, staff, and families to promote student growth. The typical caseload is around 20 students, who may have Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impairments, or Emotional Disabilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping positive outcomes for these students and ensuring compliance with all requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for high school level, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Previous experience working with high school students with varying disabilities
• Strong knowledge of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and IEP processes
• Skilled in case management and maintaining compliance-related documentation
• Effective communicator and collaborator with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Organized, flexible, and proactive in supporting academic and behavioral progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct special education services tailored to individual student needs
• Manage and support a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Complete and maintain accurate special education records and required paperwork
• Collaborate and consult with general education staff and related service providers
• Track and report on student progress; provide guidance for interventions and accommodations
