Temporary Recruiter (Manufacturing & Production)
Location: Charlotte, NC area
Duration: 6-month contract
Schedule: Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Temporary Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for a growing manufacturing operation. This individual will manage full-cycle recruiting, with a primary focus on filling production and manufacturing positions while supporting additional professional and administrative openings as needed.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing or production recruiting experience is a must have.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and application review through candidate screening, interviews, and selection.
- Prioritize high-volume hiring for production and manufacturing positions, including second-shift openings.
- Post job openings across multiple job boards and proactively source qualified candidates.
- Coordinate and conduct onsite interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain applicant flow and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and keep hiring processes moving efficiently.
- Utilize local recruiting resources, job fairs, and workforce development channels to build candidate pipelines.
- Support onboarding activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in full-cycle, high-volume, or manufacturing recruiting.
- Experience recruiting for hourly production, machine operator, warehouse, forklift, or skilled manufacturing positions.
- Recruiting for 2nd and 3rd shift roles
- Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with multiple job boards.
- Ability to independently manage multiple openings and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or a similar ATS/HRIS is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred but not required.
- Ability to work onsite at least three days per week and conduct in-person interviews.
