Alongside the rest of our values, “courage” and “mutual respect” define our actions every day and how we wish to contribute to the world.The primary purpose of this position is recruitment and selection of qualified candidates to fill administrative and professional level positions and to provide operational support for other functional areas within P&O.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Responsible for the recruitment and selection of assigned positions for all VELUX Companies in the US. This includes projecting yearly recruitment expenditures, adherence to established recruitment budgets and continuous development of recruitment processes/resources both internal and external.* Provide information on Company employment opportunities to potential applicants. This includes development of employer branding and recruitment materials, networking and sourcing used in attracting candidates to the Company. This includes the use of sourcing resources including LinkedIn Recruiter.* Assist in developing and executing corporate recruitment strategy including DEI activities.* Assist in developing and tracking performance indicators of the recruiting and hiring processes so that the processes are transparent and measurable. Set continuous improvement goals.* Conducting interviews with applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements. Responsible for referring qualified applicants to Company hiring personnel for follow-up interviews.* Maintaining stakeholder relationships, including line managers and department heads.* Responsible for completing background investigations on final candidates. This includes verification of education, past employment, criminal background and DOT certification.* Work with local health clinics in scheduling pre-employment physicals and drug screens for final candidates.* Responsible for pre-onboarding activities including hiring employees into Workday (HRIS) system and preparing new hire packages.* Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of employee onboarding.* Responsible for ensuring all employment documentation is completed and accurate.* Responsible for HR support activities for employees. This includes entering job and position changes, including promotions, demotions and terminations, in Workday (HRIS).**Secondary Responsibilities:*** Assist in the administration of HR policies and processes and supporting managers and supervisors as needed.* Assisting with HR projects as assigned.* Assisting employees with their questions and concerns as needed.* Processing of Unemployment claims as needed.**Starting Monthly Salary:** $5,540.00 - $6,925.00. Compensation is based on the skills and experience of that candidate.**Qualifications:*** A Bachelor’s degree is required. Preference given to Business, Human Resources, or other Human Resources related discipline.* One to three years’ experience in recruitment, employment hiring, policy administration, Affirmative Action compliance, and other general duties in Human Resources is required.* Must possess general knowledge of various employment laws and practices.* Demonstrated proficiency in all office system/skills, Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Experience working with Workday or other HRIS/ATS integrated systems is preferred.* Direct experience with sourcing qualified and diverse talent. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and good problem solving skills.* Excellent communication skills both oral and written which also requires excellent skills in grammar, proofreading, presentation and organization.
