Job Summary:

As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will work with athletes and active individuals to prevent, diagnose, and treat sports-related injuries. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, coaches, and athletes to ensure optimal performance and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate care and assessment of athletic injuries on-site.
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs and conditioning plans.
• Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-play protocols for injured athletes.
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and progress notes.
• Educate athletes, coaches, and parents about injury prevention and management.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Attend practices and competitions to provide ongoing support and care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited program.
• Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
• State licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of sports medicine practices and injury management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
