Travel CVOR Registered Nurse - Grosse Pointe, Michigan

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• 8 hours per day
• Flexible options: five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts-all with a 6am start
• Block schedules available
• On-call required (48 hours every 6 weeks, including 1 weekend per month)
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks (Start: 05/18/2026, End: 08/15/2026)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate perioperative nursing care
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) for both direct and delegated patient care
• Perform and document clinical assessments, interventions, and teaching of patients/families
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team
• Identify and help resolve variances in patient outcomes, ensuring solutions are implemented
• Apply advanced cardiac scrub and operating room skills

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Michigan (required)
• BLS certification
• Previous operating room experience
• Demonstrated cardiac scrub experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-centered CVOR environment
