Description:
Under general supervision, put away, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout various settings.
Put away supplies into clean rooms, carts, and other supply locations utilizing proper rotation.
Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non-stock items.
Pick supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts and restock Exchange Carts.
Check various supply locations for product expiration dates and remove according to policy.
Distribute oxygen tanks.
Assist with special projects.
Deliver supplies and packages to various units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies.
Answer phone calls and emails and respond to customer service requests.
Perform issues and credits in the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), ensuring the cost of the items are allocated appropriately.
Report inventory discrepancies and document according to policy.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure par locations are free of dirt, dust, and trash.
Assist with training staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Skills:
Typing, use of computers, computer software, and ability to learn software applications necessary for job performance.
Proficiency in utilizing the MMIS.
Knowledge of general office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and printers.
Ability to work in a busy, high-pressure environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including coworkers, management, and partners.
Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening.
Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving.
