Nurse Practitioner NP Primary Care

Position Overview Primary Care Nurse Practitioner – Join our dynamic Primary Care Team in Irving, Texas. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities, including preventive health‑care measures. Implement diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions. Provide verbal and written communication with patients, families, and interprofessional teams. Employ interpersonal skills to build therapeutic relationships. Use critical thinking and complex problem‑solving skills to manage complex clinical cases. Utilize computers and related software applications for documentation and patient care. Develop and implement comprehensive, outcome‑based patient treatment plans. Counsel patients regarding medical and psychological conditions, treatment options, and behavior modification. Interpret and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Minimum 4 years of primary‑care Nurse Practitioner experience. Certified Primary Care or Family Nurse Practitioner (National certification). Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license, or ability to obtain one. Texas RN licence or RN licence with compact privilege from a compact‑state, plus Texas APRN licence. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
