GWULibraries is seeking a temporary Program Coordinator. The primary responsibility is to manage the OSPODrupal website, including designing, creating, and posting new pages, configuring settings, updating content, and managing users. The role also involves managing GWOSPO GitHub repositories, maintaining projects, ensuring versions are synced, and addressing issues and pull requests. Additionally, the coordinator will manage communications and marketing for the OSPO Student Ambassador team, create and assign tasks, and onboard new members. The coordinator will also create CURIOSS patterns for new OSPO initiatives, update markdown files on the Open Forum for AI (OFAI) Landscape tool, and manage GW AI updates. They will design and implement open source educational initiatives, including tabling, posters, social media content, videos, and events to educate students, faculty, and staff about open source. The coordinator will monitor and respond to the View email address on click.appcast.io email, plan and execute OSPO events, and collaborate with student groups to expand knowledge of open source and OSPO services among the GW student population. They will also develop and implement social media marketing strategies, create marketing graphics, video, photo, and social media content to promote the OSPO and OSPO services, and manage payments for student awards and hackathon spot prizes.

The position is located in Foggy Bottom, Washington, D.C., within the University Libraries. It is a full-time, 40-hour per week position with a hybrid onsite status. The hiring range is $18.40 - $35.00. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. The position requires a criminal history screening, education/degree/certifications verification, social security number trace, and sex offender registry search.
