Our focus is to help the organization technically transform its current services by leading edge technology insertions. We are charged with the development of new designs, implementation, and operation of new or enhanced services. Over the life of the contract we will drive continual service improvement by tech modernization for LANs, WANs, unified communications (UC), video telecommunication, and streaming services. The Opportunity CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead LAN/WAN Engineer who will provide expert design, analysis, research, and operational support for complex networking problems and processes. The successful candidate must communicate clearly and succinctly both in writing and orally, and work in dynamic, fast‑paced environments requiring team interaction and coordination. Responsibilities Serve as a leader in local‑ and wide‑area networking, sought for advice and guidance. Act as a technical expert on established and ad‑hoc project teams, providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives on existing and new services to meet architectural and operational needs. Provide expertise in Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Integration, and Communications and Network Systems Management. May manage small teams of engineers and related technical staff such as cyber specialists and testers. Provide insight into cutting‑edge technologies, integrations, and capabilities. Consult with other engineers, team leads, or customer stakeholders on requirements and technical direction. Draw on deep knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, Ruckus, Versa, NOM, NetScout, and related network components or monitoring and management tools. Provide deep expertise on BGP, OSPF, tunnels (GRE, pseudowire, VPN, L2TP), Spine and Leaf architectures, and BGP peering. Qualifications IAT II (or industry equivalent). CCNP minimum; preferred CCIE router & switch written exam (or industry equivalent). TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph. Bachelor's degree + 10 years of experience. Pay Range The proposed salary range for this position is $105,100 – $231,100.
