Driver Recruiter

We are currently seeking a motivated and resourceful Driver Recruiter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the transportation industry and is passionate about both recruiting and retaining top driver talent. What You’ll Do Develop and post job advertisements across multiple platforms, including the company website and job boards Source, screen, and qualify CDL Class A driver candidates Coordinate interviews, road tests, and orientation with the training team Conduct full-cycle recruiting, including: Employment verifications, Background checks, and PSP/MVR compliance per FMCSA regulations Manage orientation scheduling and communication with internal staff Maintain accurate and confidential applicants and employee records Support onboarding processes and new hire integration Assist with support staff recruitment Partner with HR/Safety on various initiatives and projects Perform additional duties as needed What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of the trucking/transportation industry Creative and proactive approach to sourcing driver candidates Commitment to both recruitment and driver retention strategies Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Adaptable, solution-focused mindset Qualifications 2+ years of recruiting experience 2+ years of experience in the trucking or transportation industry Why Join Stewart Transport?
