Production Worker

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Production Worker with our power technology client in Henderson, CO . This is a 6-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $24.00/hr ; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: Monday -Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual who is comfortable working with machines and tools. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with strong hands-on skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks. The manager is looking for a general worker with hand tool experience nothing more nothing less.

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

Machining:

• In this area technicians rotate within the work stations in this area.
• Operations include power wash cleaning of cranks and cylinder blocks.
• Detailed inspection of crankshafts. Use of basic polishing machine.
• Manual cleaning of cylinder block surfaces, and threaded holes, using power tools and abrasives.
• Detailed inspection of the cylinder block.
• Use of cranes and basic measurement equipment (bore gauges, micrometers).
• Follow documented instructions.
• Record process results as needed.
• More skilled operator in this area will operate a milling machine.
• Support problem solving investigations.
• All of above while following all HSE requirements.

• Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
• Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.
• Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
