Overview JobOverview: We areseekinga skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you willbe responsible forfabricatingand assembling metalstructures and products using various weldingtechniques. Theidealcandidate should have a strong understanding of welding principles, be proficient in reading blueprints andtechnical drawings, andpossessa keen eye for detail to ensure the quality of the finished product.Thisposition requires physical strength, dexterity, and a commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities Performweldingtasksusingdifferenttechniquessuchas MIG(MetalInertGas),tojoinorrepairmetalcomponents. Interpretandfollowtechnicaldrawings,blueprints,andweldingsymbolstoensureaccurateandprecisefabrication. Set up andoperatewelding equipment, including selecting proper welding tools, gases, and wire orelectrodematerials. Inspect materials for defectsand ensure they meet required specifications before starting the weldingprocess. Clean,prepare,andarrangemetalsurfacestobewelded,removinganyimpuritiesorcontaminants Conductwelding teststoassessthe quality ofwelds andmakenecessary adjustmentsto achieveoptimalresults. Maintainweldingequipmentbyperformingregularmaintenanceandrepairs. Followsafetyguidelinesandwearappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE). Collaboratewithotherteammemberstoensureefficientworkflowandtimelycompletionofprojects Monitorinventoryofweldingmaterialsandreportanyshortagesorneededsuppliestothesupervisor. Adheretocompanypoliciesandprocedures,ensuringcompliancewithindustrystandardsandregulations. Qualifications Preferredqualifications: CandidatemusthavesomeorallthefollowingEducational/Technicalrequirements: Highschooldiplomaorequivalent;technicalorvocationaltraininginWelding ProvenexperienceasaWelderorsimilarroleinmetalfabrication. Familiaritywithreadingtechnicaldrawingsandblueprints. MustbefamiliarwithMachinesandtheuseoftips,nozzlesandothermachineissues. Abilitytooperateandmaintainweldingequipmenteffectively. Preferredskillsandabilities: Candidatemusthavesomeorallthefollowingskillsandabilities: Strongattentiontodetailandprecisioninworkmanship. Physicalstaminaandtheabilitytoworkinvariouspositions,includingstanding,kneeling,and bending for extended periods. Excellenthand-eyecoordinationandmanualdexterity. Knowledgeofsafetyprotocolsandtheabilitytoadheretosafetystandards. Strongproblem-solvingskillsandabilitytotroubleshootweldingissues.
