Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator - Registered Nurse

About This Role As a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator with CVS Health, you will utilize your clinical skills to educate patients and their caregivers on complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies, providing infusion training and clinical support. Highlights Pay: $54,095 - $116,760/year Location: Des Moines, IA Schedule: Full-time Travel: Approximately 20% remote, 80% in-person visits within IA, NE, SD, and ND What You'll Do Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team to coordinate the patient's plan of care. Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH. Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting. Participate in on-call as business needs require. Educate patients on how to administer their oral or inhaled therapies. Visit patients in-person for education on infused therapies. Build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel. Requirements Education: RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing Experience: 2 years in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or 2 years of high-tech home infusion experience Licenses & Certifications: Current unrestricted RN License in IA with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area Current CPR certification required Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off Retirement savings options Wellness programs and other resources About CVS Health CVS Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
