Workers' Comp Legal Assistant (Scheduler) Full-time Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain & Mangan, P.A. is an AV-rated law firm by Martindale-Hubbell(R) Law Directory offering top quality legal services to its clients throughout Florida. The firm provides legal services in all areas of insurance defense litigation from Workers’ Compensation, Medical Malpractice, Automobile Negligence, Premises Liability and Construction Litigation. The Legal Scheduling Coordinator is a member of the Workers Compensation Legal team and is responsible for supporting the attorneys by coordinating and managing their schedules. This individual must be detail-oriented, have great time management, and organizational skills. Job responsibilities Set hearings, depositions, mediations and phone conferences. Heavy telephone use and calendaring of appointments. Handle the scheduling of all depositions and client meetings. Secure videographer and interpreters when needed. Have knowledge of the court system, including but not limited to, electronic filing (e-filing) and electronic e-service. Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
