Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector specializing in process piping. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with our quality standards, applicable codes, client requirements, and project specifications through inspections and documentation. This position requires CWI and Level II Visual Testing (VT) certifications and experience in process piping systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on process piping systems, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, client specifications, approved drawings, and quality requirements.
• Conduct Visual Testing (VT) inspections to evaluate welding, fit-up, and overall piping integrity.
• Review and interpret project drawings, piping isometrics, P&IDs, welding procedures, and material certifications.
• Verify welder qualifications and approved WPS requirements.
• Review ITPs and verify required inspections and testing.
• Verify material traceability and MTR documentation.
• Witness and document required pressure testing.
• Maintain and update inspection records, reports, and non-conformance documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify adherence to applicable codes such as ASME, API, and project-specific standards.
• Support audits and client inspections as required.
• Participate in quality walkdowns, punch lists, and turnover.

Qualifications:

• CWI Certification (required).
• Level II Visual Testing (VT) certification (required).
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification.
• Proven experience in QA/QC for process piping systems.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes (ASME, API, etc.).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting piping isometric drawings and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of WPS/PQR requirements, material traceability, and pressure testing.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Possess the necessary English language skills, both verbally and in writing, to effectively perform the responsibilities of the position.

Preferred:

• Additional certifications (NDT Level II in other applicable methods).
• Experience with fabrication shops and field installations.
• Experience with semiconductor, high-purity, or process piping systems.
• Experience with orbital welding.
