Medical Assistant | OBGYN Clinic

Join a busy specialty clinic supporting both patient care. We're looking for a professional, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients, take vital signs, and update medical histories
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and copays
• Manage patient calls, messages, and prescription requests
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness standards
• Accurately document information in EMR systems

Qualifications:

• Active Medical Assistant Certification and CPR/BLS certification
• 2+ year of Medical Assistant experience (OBGYN preferred)

Essential Skills

• Active Medical Assistant Certification
• 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Proficiency in medical terminology, healthcare, and vital signs charting
• Polished and professional demeanor

Pay: 20-24 USD Hourly

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM CST

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, TX.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
