What You'll Do Clinical Support
- Welcome and prepare patients for visits, record vital signs, and update medical records.
- Assist providers during exams and procedures.
- Keep exam rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Perform injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other routine clinical tasks (per certification).
- Educate patients and provide clear follow-up care instructions.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage provider calendars.
- Verify insurance, process referrals, and obtain prior authorizations.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and chart prep.
- Handle check-in/check-out, collect co-pays, and process billing forms.
- Ensure office operations run smoothly and comply with healthcare regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or Medical Assisting diploma preferred).
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Prior medical office or healthcare experience a plus.
- Comfortable with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
