Physical Therapist - Inpatient RehabLocation Atlantis, FLAssignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule Days, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with one weekend per month required. Weekdays off will be provided to balance out weekends.Job Description We are seeking a Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care in our 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and inpatient rehabilitation settings.Responsibilities Deliver evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including the Director, Lead PT, and other therapy staff. Manage patient care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and general medical/surgical populations. Utilize various equipment including treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes. Document all relevant patient information in the EMR system (Meditech).Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. BLS certification is required. A minimum of 1 year of current experience in a hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF setting is essential.
