Stop Loss Coordinator

*Stop Loss Coordinator (Entry-Level)*
Our client, a growing organization within the insurance and financial services space, is seeking a detail-oriented *Stop Loss Coordinator* to support their underwriting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in insurance operations and underwriting support.
*Key Responsibilities:*

* Manage a high-volume quote inbox by prioritizing requests and ensuring timely turnaround
* Accurately enter and maintain data in Excel-based quote spreadsheets
* Prepare and submit completed quote files to the underwriting intake team for further review
* Respond to internal and external inquiries related to quote requests and provide status updates
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with quote submissions in a timely and professional manner
* Set up and maintain electronic and hard copy files for underwriting review
* Review files for completeness and follow up to obtain any missing information
* Coordinate additional requirements, including nurse reviews when applicable
* Assist the underwriting team with new business onboarding and sold case processing
* Support the preparation of monthly reports and tracking metrics
*Qualifications:*

* Associate's degree preferred
* Previous experience in administrative support, office support, or data entry required
* Experience in insurance, financial services, or accounting environments preferred
* Proficiency in Excel and strong data entry skills
* High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
*Additional Preferred Skills:*

* Exposure to insurance administration, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, or collections
* Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
