This individual will support the design, development, and integration of mixed operating system (Linux, Windows) development laboratories for the Remote Sensing Programs (RSP) Business Unit in Linthicum, MD.Responsibilities include:Support of network topology, inventory, and configurationDefine and implement upgrades to the IT environmentPerforming new server buildsScripting to optimize IT environmentLevel 2 support for system configuration, setup, and requested baseline configuration changesAssisting in the resolution of computer problems beyond the knowledge of engineering staff.Qualified candidates must demonstrate a blend of technical skills and excellent communication abilities.Computer Support 2: Two years of experience with a High School DiplomaNo Clearance required to start, but must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance to meet business needsU.S. Citizenship is requiredExperience with Windows and LinuxExperience with debugging Information Technology problems and resolving themHands on experience setting up and configurating Information Technology equipmentExperience performing security patching and testing on Servers and PCsActive TS/SCI clearanceExperience with software development labs, software/hardware integrationBash/Python script writing experienceESXi and VMWare experienceExperience with networks and networking equipmentFamiliarity with NIST 800-171 network complianceActive COMPTIA Security + CertificationCISSP certification, RedHat certification(s)Primary Level Salary Range: $49,100.00 - $81,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
