What You'll Do Maintain the company's general ledger by entering accounting transactions into QuickBooks. Set up new customers and keep customer records updated. Prepare customer invoices for deposits, start payments, progress payments, and completion payments. Receive customer payments via check, credit card, financing, & ACH. Review and follow up on accounts receivable balances via effective communication with sales team and customers. Prepare and enter bank deposits and wire transfers. Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs with vendors for all building locations. Order and stock general office supplies for all facilities. Prepare accounting entries for month-end close. Perform general office duties. We Are Looking For Proven experience as an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable Specialist, or similar role in finance. Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Required competencies include time management, striving for accuracy, and self-motivation. Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment such as a telephone and copier. To Qualify For The Role, You Must Have 4-6 years of accounting experience required. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. A degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
