Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to support domestic transportation operations in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on coordinating shipments, maintaining compliance, and delivering excellent customer service across business accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all logistics activities align with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards
- Coordinate with transportation providers to manage timely and accurate shipment movement
- Respond to customer inquiries including quotes, tracking, and shipment updates
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and invoices within internal transportation management systems (TMS)
- Monitor inventory levels and manage shipping schedules
- Review operations for risks, compliance gaps, and process improvements
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting on logistics activities
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve shipment or service-related challenge

- Maintain high levels of customer service across all accounts

- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Additional Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred)
- Experience with transportation or logistics systems (TMS platforms)
- Strong data analysis and data manipulation capabilities
- Solid understanding of operational systems and workflows
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or freight-related operations
- Background in customer service and shipment documentation strongly preferred
$25-35/hr

Working Hours: Monday- Friday (7am-4pm OR 8am-5pm)
