Cannabis Retail General Manager

Job Overview General Manager for a Cannabis Retail Store located in Brooklyn, New York. Responsibilities Lead daily operations and ensure a professional, customer‑focused environment. Drive store operations including hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching of the team. Manage vendor relationships, merchandising, inventory controls, cash handling and audits. Ensure compliance with all New York cannabis regulations and internal SOPs. Oversee customer experience, build repeat business, and develop local community engagement. Make autonomous operational decisions to grow sales while maintaining strong controls and adherence to regulatory requirements. Qualifications Minimum 5 + years of retail management experience, with hands‑on leadership in cannabis retail. Former experience purchasing cannabis products in New York State and working with vendors. Proficiency with Flowhub or a similar cannabis POS platform. Solid background in hiring, training, scheduling, cash controls, audits, compliance, and SOP development. Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Compliance‑driven, detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and comfortable creating structured retail operations.
