Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner-Clinical/Psychiatric)

Job DutiesProvides evaluations, histories, goal setting, and treatment planning for children, adolescents, and adults.Performs intakes, conducts diagnostic evaluations, and prescribes/monitors psychotropic medications.Screens for side effects, assesses efficacy, and adjusts treatment plans as clinically indicated.Maintains accurate electronic records and coordinates referrals with primary care, specialty providers, and external agencies.Works with multidisciplinary teams, advises unit leadership on soldier well being, and monitors/documents significant behavioral changes.Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.Develops and delivers in service training for healthcare staff.
