They will assist and advise staff Certified Respiratory Practitioners.Duties will include but are not limited to the following: aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, CPT, incentive spirometry, mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gases, pulmonary function testing, pulse oximetry, assist with fiberoptic bronchoscopy and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.Perform other duties as assigned.Team Member CompetenciesEstablishing RelationshipsBuilds effective networks, working relationships, and alliances in order to collaborate effectively within department and organization. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.Threshold RequirementsThese threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientationTB/PPD Surveillance ProgramMaintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
