Sales Operations Manager The Sales Operations Manager works in close collaboration with the VPs of Business Development and drives various operating mechanisms and processes to maximize sales performance. Responsibilities Lead the annual sales target‑setting process working closely with the finance, operations, and sales leadership team to determine new sales needed to support revenue growth over the next 3‑5 years and allocate the target across technologies and sales territories. Act as the Salesforce.com expert for a business unit or specific sales technology team, providing key reporting, training, problem‑solving, and data validation/review. Perform territory analytics using external market data and internal data to maximize coverage, win rate, and overall sales efficiencies, and recommend adjustments such as sales force size and deployment. Support the revenue budget‑setting process with the Corporate and Site finance teams by calculating revenue burn rates to ensure forecasted wins convert to revenue within the budget timeframe. Organize and drive monthly sales funnel reviews with the business development teams and sites, utilizing the standard sales process methodology to ensure consistency and rigor in managing sales opportunities. Assist the business unit leadership team in the annual Strategic Planning processes, providing necessary analytics on sales, customer growth, and market trends. Other duties as assigned. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2‑3 years of experience, preferably in finance, 6‑sigma, or operations. Bachelor’s Degree. Strong leadership skills and ability to lead change. Ability to process data and apply critical business thinking to make simple recommendations. Strong communication skills at all organization levels. Excellent organizational skills. Willingness to travel globally to various Catalent sites. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Salesforce.com. Pay The annual pay range for this position in New Jersey is $89,200 - $122,600. The final salary offered may vary and will depend on experience, industry, skill set, education, and business needs.
