Travel RN – Med/Telemetry (Spine Unit)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Telemetry Spine unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to cardiac rhythm changes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment plans and discharge planning
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and nursing excellence standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a Med/Telemetry or similar acute care setting
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Current BLS certification (ACLS may be required)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience on a spine or orthopedic unit
• Previous travel nursing experience with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in large acute care facilities
