HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST
U.S. Marine Corps
Duties
You will independently administer and serve as a technical specialist for two or more HR programs such as Workers Compensation, Leave Administration (FMLA), Staffing and Operations.
You will advise managers, employees, and other customers on a variety of HR policies, procedures, and program-related issues to ensure compliance and effective operations.
You will draft HR documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), reports, and correspondence to provide clear guidance and document personnel actions.
You will research complex HR guidelines and regulations to identify, recommend, and apply appropriate solutions for managers and employees.
You will analyze program metrics and data trends to prepare comprehensive briefs and recommendations for leadership to improve human resources operations.
