Ocean Export Coordinator

We are looking for an Ocean Export Coordinator to join our client based in JFK New York.
Key Responsibilities;
- Coordinate end-to-end export shipments for ocean freight
- Negotiate rates with shipping lines, arrange haulage, and process booking details.
- Communicate daily with clients, shipping lines, overseas agents, and internal warehousing teams.
- Issue freight quotations, process purchase invoices, and finalize job files for billing.
- Prepare and verify critical export paperwork, such as Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and commercial invoices.
- Ensure all cargo meets international trade regulations and handle export customs declarations.
Skills Required;
- Experience working in freight forwarding
- Ocean export experience
- Understanding of international shipping processes
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good attentional to detail
- Excellent communication skills
