Contact information Location 6309 4th Street,Suite 100,Lubbock, TX, 79416,United States Employee Type FT Non-Exempt Description Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Amarillo Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics We are looking for a competent dental hygienist who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and perform administrative and basic dental tasks. Dental hygienists should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for dental appointments ensuring their comfort Sterilize instruments according to regulations Provide excellent patient care Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental area clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Create and review treatment plans Comfortable with children/adolescents of all ages Skills Understanding of health & safety regulations Progressional and presentable appearance with excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable Ability to multi-task and adapt to change RDH active license required Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. CPR, HIPAA, OSHA, Human Trafficking, Nitrous Certification, etc.) Open Dental and Dexis experience (preferred) Job details Pay Depending on experience Job type Full-time Schedule Monday to Friday Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching EEO Statement All LPDO subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
