This description summarizes the role and qualifications for the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor position. Job Summary The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supporting the maintenance and upkeep of the club, ensuring facilities and equipment are in optimal condition. The Supervisor ensures that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards of cleanliness and functionality. Additionally, the Supervisor supports day-to-day operations, scheduling, and coordinating repairs, and proactively identifying areas for improvement to enhance the overall club experience. Reporting Structure Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Director or Manager Day To Day Oversee and assist with daily facility maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, and parking lot repairs/striping, ensuring tasks are performed safely and efficiently. Coordinate routine maintenance schedules, including window cleaning, parking lot repairs, striping, and exterior lighting, ensuring timely completion. Assist in executing preventative maintenance for equipment, including HVAC systems, fitness equipment, and pools, ensuring functionality and safety. Supervise and guide maintenance and housekeeping staff daily, providing direction on tasks and ensuring quality standards are met. Ensure staff use mechanical equipment and tools safely, offering basic training on safety protocols and procedures. Monitor maintenance costs within the assigned budget and report discrepancies or concerns to the Manager. Track and maintain basic records of expenditures for maintenance-related activities. Additional Duties Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management. Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions. Support and enforce policies while maintaining high standards of ethics and integrity. Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members and staff. Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety guidelines. Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to the role. Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations. Contribute to the club’s goals and overall team efficiency. Required About You: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field in the golf club environment. A minimum of 1 year of experience supervising maintenance staff, setting priorities, and overseeing day-to-day operations. Preferred Experience coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities, conducting inspections, and ensuring safety and operational standards. Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs. Experience implementing and adhering to health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards in facility maintenance. Training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and related facility maintenance compliance. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines. Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required.
