Pediatric Cardiologist

A healthcare organization in New Jersey is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Middlesex County. This role provides inpatient pediatric cardiology coverage, consultations, and call support in a collaborative hospital setting. About the Opportunity:Shift: Day shift with 24-hour call coverage Schedule: One week per month, Monday 8:00 AM through the following Monday 8:00 AM Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with 24-hour call during the assigned coverage week Setting: Inpatient hospital Responsibilities:Round on pediatric cardiology inpatients Provide pediatric cardiology consultations throughout the hospital Interpret echocardiograms and electrocardiograms Respond to pediatric cardiology service calls Evaluate and manage patients in the emergency department, pediatric inpatient units, the PICU, and the NICU Qualifications:Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology Active or eligible New Jersey medical license Ability to independently perform and interpret Pediatric Echocardiograms Experience managing critically ill Pediatric and Neonatal Cardiac patients Experience providing inpatient consultations and emergency cardiac evaluations Desired Skills:Experience working in an academic medical center Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record systems Experience collaborating with pediatric cardiology medical leadership and support teams Tandym Group
