Cocktail Server (Sternewirth at Hotel Emma)

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant.
Serve food and beverages to guests and refill drinks accordingly.
Perform sidework and/or opening & closing duties as specified.
Operate point of sale system.
Clean tables, straighten chairs, and keep floor free of debris.
Clean service area and replenish as needed.
Bus and set tables.
Assist in Room Service (if necessary).
Handle cash and credit transactions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Communicate with support crew and management.
Volunteer hotel information to guests. Must be knowledgeable about other restaurants, shops and locations on property and about current/upcoming events.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year restaurant experience.
High volume experience.
Good food and service knowledge.
Basic POS knowledge.
Pleasant personality.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.
