Job Details

We are looking for a skilled Plumber to take charge of the assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. This role is vital for ensuring the proper functioning of heating, water distribution, and drainage systems in commercial settings. Responsibilities:

• Review building plans and technical drawings to determine necessary tools and installation sequences.
• Assess structures to identify potential obstacles before pipe installation.
• Create openings in walls, floors, and other structures to accommodate plumbing installations.
• Measure, mark, and prepare locations for pipe placement, connections, and passage openings using appropriate tools.
• Install valves, pipe fittings, and piping systems using various materials, including metal and non-metal components.
• Conduct pressure and leak tests using water or air to ensure system integrity.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plumbing systems as needed.
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using tools such as cutters, torches, and threading machines.
• Follow work instructions and comply with supervisor directives.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in daily tasks.
• Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Plumber or in a similar role, with plumbing experience in equipment, tools, machines, or programs.
• Current valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in operating necessary plumbing equipment and tools, including the proper use of basic hand tools required for tasks.

Preferred candidates will:

• Hold certification in plumbing or a related field.
• Have experience with plumbing systems in a commercial or industrial environment.
