Description:

We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support our human resources department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a smooth onboarding experience and ensure efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide administrative support to the HR Department.
• Administer end-to-end onboarding logistics for new hires, including document collection, system setup, and orientation support
• Conduct new hire orientation sessions weekly
• Assist in maintaining employee records 
• Assist with processing weekly payroll, auditing timecards, earnings, deductions, and employee records to ensure payroll accuracy
• Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets and correspondence
• Assist employees with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
• Review insurance invoices for accuracy, balance, and proper segmentation for accounting purposes
• Process termination paperwork for departing employees to ensure smooth offboarding
• Track and manage company store orders to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy
• Assist with special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in HR administration or related administrative role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS)
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization, including management team
• Ability to travel up to 15% to company locations.
